Just checked out my friend’s copy of Borderlands and I gotta say…it’s a suprisingly fun game. I promised myself that I wouldn’t get any other game before tekken and MW2 but now that has changed after playing Borderlands. The game plays out like a FPS with attitude and has a lot of cool features that will keep you playing for a long time. For one, the campaign is an open-world, 4 player FPS co-op adventure with RPG style stats. Second, the presentation is unique and the characters give you something different for a change. You and your friends can choose from 4 characters that are set into different classes: Soldier, Siren, Berzerker, and Hunter, each giving you a unique ability. You can find thousands of weapons to kill the mutants and monters and that alone keeps the game interesting as you search for your perfect gun. The multiplayer is sick and is really fun with the added powers and customizable weapons and characters. This is definitely one game to check out with your friends or at least rent.
