We’ve finally made our transition from our previous server to our new one. As you noticed we’ve launched a new rebranding of our HAWAIICGL logo, we definitely hope everyone loves it. We’ll be making many more changes to the website, staff, as well announce upcoming tournaments to end the year with a bang! Stay tuned as things are going to get even more exciting.

A system error in our new system had forwarded out a email without your information and grammatical errors. We have a technical team working on the situation. All login and password information is the same from the previous social network, and we highly suggest you change your password often. Again we apologize for the error and look forward to seeing everyone on our new launch.

We’ve got some Great News! The content of our old Social Network on has been transferred to our main domain. We’re working on a new design, so bare with us during our new transition. HAWAIICGL (Hawaii Championship Gaming League) will be dedicated to providing Hawaii’s gamers with Fresh Exciting Features, Multi-player News, Real Tournament Prizes, Real Sponsorships, Contests & Giveaways, and much more.

XBOX LIVE recently posted listings that confirms the names of the five new maps included in the much anticipated first instalment of Modern Warfare 2 DLC which we now know is called, “The Stimulus Package.”

The first DLC for MW2 will have a mixture of both new and old where we have 2 maps from COD4 making a return:

These are the confirmed names of the new maps:

• Bailout – City based multi-level apartment complex map.
• Storm – An industrial park map that is covered with heavy machinery.
• Salvage – A snow map which is a junkyard fortified by snowy stacked debris and crushed cars.
• Crash – (COD4)A map which looked straight out of the movie Blackhawk down.
• Overgrown – (COD4)The grassy creek battleground.

A lot of changes has been going on over at Infinity Ward with Bad news about their top two studio heads getting fired and all…but there is some good news for us at least and that is a hopefully better matchmaking update and the release of the first MW2 DLC for XBOX LIVE. The Modern Warfare 2 Map Pack DLC is finally confirmed to be released this month but we still have to wait till the 30th to get it…March 30th is the day we will finally get to see the new maps as well as the return of some COD4 maps. 402 didn’t confrim any of the leaked Map pack videos on YouTube(that were taken down) so we gotta wait and see if that was a fake or not. There is also a patch set to be released BEFORE the DLC hits which should help with matchmaking…hopefully.

Merry Christmas to all members out there! Modern Warfare 2 online had been full of glitched lobbies until a couple of days ago…The recent update has stopped that glitch that enabled players to create their own custom lobbies and those 1887 shotguns were toned down. Now you don’t have to worry about running into those lobbies unexpectedly (if you didn’t like them) As for those damn model 1887s, we have noticed a change in range and power but people still run around with them and once in a while you do get shot down but not from as far as before. Now if only Infinity Ward can work on a region filter for match-making….I personally am tired of playing with yellow and red dot connections if you know what I mean.
